Fukuoka – A Two Face City for a Break from the Busy Cities to the North

I have to agree that most of the beautiful and amazing cities in Japan are located on their largest island, which is Honshu Island, where Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka are located. However, it doesn’t mean that the cities located on smaller islands around Honshu Island are less appealing compared to the cities on the mainland. One of the proofs for my sentence could be found in Fukuoka, which is a city of 1.5 million citizen that was as one of the most liveable city on earth. Great views, relaxing atmosphere, and rich in culture, Fukuoka is the place for those who wants to take a break from the fast-paced cities to the north. Continue reading

One of the reasons that make us love Japan is because Japan has lots of delicious foods, isn’t it? Since Japan has lots of media, such as anime, manga, dorama, game, etc, to spread their culture; it also make the Japanese foods become well-known among us and even in the world. I guess there isn’t someone who doesn’t have any idea about sushi today. Another interesting thing is Japan has lots of variation of foods because Japan has four different seasons, since you can’t eat something that is cold in winter season unless you wanna get stomachache. Holla!! This is the second part of the Colourful Harajuku series guys! This time I’m going to cover the huge and famous Meiji Shrine. A shrine in the middle of  trendy and crowded Harajuku? Seriously? Yeah, I’m serious about that. This is famous become it’s big and it’s located in the downtown Tokyo. It makes like it’s a totally in a different dimension compared to the next door, which is Takeshita Doori, but that’s what make it interesting. I guess it’d be better to go straight to the location.
