Ouch! An Error in AFAID 2012 ‘K’ Special Report

|This post is written by Gilimandra|

Relying solely on memory could have its downfall sometimes, and that certainly happened to me as I realized that the screening in AFAID 2012 was actually showing three-fourths of the first episode. My bad, really, I was so engrossed in the show I hadn’t realized the fact.

Another sincere apology coming from me is that I totally had mistaken the last part of the show, which I now have corrected thanks to the first episode officially aired yesterday. Hard lesson learned, I’ll do my best to improve myself. And oh, by the way, my opinion stays the same, ‘K’ is rather promising, I’m looking forward to watching the second episode next week.

Here’s the corrected version of AFAID 2012 ‘K’ Special Report.

¦From left to right: Sea A, Angela, KOTOKO, and Stereopony.¦

The sun had started to drown itself into the horizon line, lots of visitors who had bought either the ‘Exhibition Ticket’ or ”Exhibition+Stage Access Ticket” started to make their ways home, cosplayers who’d been fully immersed in their characters the whole day began to show off their true colors, and the enthusiasm had started to dim out in general, but not for those equipped with “Super Anisong Stage Ticket”. Around five o’clock in the afternoon, passionate concert-goers had formed two-lines in front of the main stage’s entrance, even though the concert itself started at six thirty in the evening. Didn’t want to lose in term of overwhelming excitement, I immediately followed suit and extend the line for a further thirty centimeters. Dear AniManga Manias, this is it, the last post of AFAID 2012 Day 2 Special Report, SUPER ANISONG STAGE CONCERT!

|This post is written by Gilimandra|

Dear AniManga Mania, here we are at the penultimate post before the last and the most bombastic segment of that day, the Anisong Concert. After “Eureka Seven AO” wowed the audiences with its cutting edge animation technology and state-of-the-art original soundtrack, brand new anime “K”, which will air on the 5th of October 2012 simultaneously in Japanese local television and Animax, had successfully blown the hell out of our mind. The moment the screening ts first episode (to be precise, three-fourths of the supposed first episode) ended, all the audiences gave thunderous applause, some even bothered to stand up. They shouted excitedly, hysterically for several minutes. What an amazing enthusiasm! Everyone absolutely couldn’t wait for the first episode to come out already.

From the creators of “Toradora!”, “Papa no Koto Iu wo Kikinasai!”, “Moretsu Pirates”, and “Mawaru Penguindrum”, Starchild label brings you “K”!

Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2012 Special Report: “Maid Cafe Moe Moe Kyun!” -Part 7/10-

Okaerinasaimase Goshujin-samaaaaa… :D

On the second day of Anime Festival Asia Indonesia (AFA ID), the first and the biggest anime and manga festival in Indonesia, we had a chance to take a look at the Maid Cafe named Moe Moe Kyun. The Maid Cafe was located in the Exhibition area and was side by side with the Butler Cafe named Atelier Royale. The AFA ID was opened for visitors at 9am and it was also from that time that lots of people had queued for the Maid Cafe. From the long queue that had been made by the visitors since it was opened, we could see the enthusiasm of those people who wanted to get inside and feel how was it like to be treated as a “Goshujin-sama” which literally means master just like in the manga and anime. Moreover, those maids whose goings to serve you with their heart’s content were not only from Indonesia, some of them were from Singapore, Malaysia, and even Taiwan. So, than reading my writings babbling about that Maid Cafe, it’s better to just go straight to that maid cafe and see how magnificent Moe Moe Kyun is.
